Prevention Programs
Community led proactive, preventative programs will be funded through MMIP. Indigenous leaders, educators and families will have access to program funding that targets at risk community members and raises awareness on the vital issue of personal protection.
Partnering
Partnering with industry opens up an abundance of opportunities for employment and training for people that have been historically left behind. MMIP believes that meaningful, sustainable employment with opportunity for advancement, financial stability, and benefits for at risk people can have a dramatic effect in reducing risk to people who may otherwise have found themselves vulnerable to high risk situations. Partnerships with Labour and Industry are key to achieving success and fulfilling our mission.
Family and Community Support
Families that have lost a loved one will have access to programs and funds that will support healing. Mental health, counselling services and grief support are just some of the programs that are made available to families affected by the loss of a loved one through violence, intolerance and vulnerability.
