We are firmly committed to invest in Indigenous people to continue the work we have started and lead MMIP into the future.
We offer training to Indigenous people to become Licensed Private Sector Investigators.
We select skilled and experienced major crime investigators as trainers and mentors. This model ensures MMIP can continue to provide investigators free of charge to help Indigenous families and communities in their search for answers.
Our long term vision includes the eventual 100% Indigenous ownership and operation of MMIP. Training Indigenous people to take up roles of management, administrative, finance, etc. are available. Training and career development are strategic and essential to fulfilling our vision for MMIP in the long term.
